Now it's also true that not a single dime of this operation is tax deductible. That's because this fund isn't "giveaway money," it's actually a loan fund. The money can be used in perpetuity to give new people a hand-up as funds are repaid!
GeniusWeb established the fund on Kiva.org with the goal of keeping an ever growing pool of money flowing into third world entrepreneurial ventures, "microloans" for those of you in the know on these things, and you can view the current list of people receiving funds at the link below.
